Tea that delivers in flavor and in person!

Good morning! I’m so excited to be uploading this post because not only is it my first full length blog post (yay!), but it’s also a chance to talk about an amazing local business I worked with this week in San Antonio, Small Town Nutrition.

I was recently introduced to Small Town Nutrition (Instagram = @smalltownnutritiontx) and I cant believe I’ve missed out on this for so long! Their focus for the menu is protein coffee, energizing teas and donut shots (wasn’t 100% sure what this was but anything with the word donut I’m down for!)

I was lucky enough to try one of their newer flavored teas: Passionfruit Twist. When I say Passionfruit is my favorite fruit, that’s an understatement, so of course I had really high expectations for this drink - and it far exceeded what I had hoped! This drink has the perfect mix of sweet, tangy and refreshing - everything you would want to start summer off right! BONUS - it’s sugar free, caffeine free and super low calorie!

Most of the items from Small Town Nutrition’s menu are vegan, specifically the teas and donut shots. Some of their protein coffee contains dairy though, so those would be considered vegetarian and not vegan.

One thing I really loved about Small Town Nutrition was how sweet they were to meet me at a location that was easiest for me. They deliver plenty of orders to places like hospitals, doctors offices and to people who cannot work from home right now, especially frontline workers (nurses and medical staff get 50% off through Tuesday 5/12 for nurses week!). It’s really helpful in limiting the face to face interactions while we are all trying to stay home, though they are also doing curbside service at their store on Blanco Rd. I can’t wait to try more of their teas and to share with you guys about the cool things Small Town Nutrition is up to!
